Macon Alumnae Chapter has a long-standing partnership with L. H. Williams Elementary School in Bibb County School District through our Adopt-A-School Program. Members visit the school on a weekly basis to promote academic excellence through tutoring in Reading, Math, and Writing. We also support the students and staff by hosting celebrations for the following special occasions:
In 2017, L. H. Williams Elementary School was removed from the governor’s “Chronically Failing School” list. The sorority thanks the students, staff, leadership team, and all volunteers for their hard work in helping our students succeed!
