Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. supports the following approved international projects in Africa and Haiti:
- Mary Help of the Sick Mission Hospital (Thika, Kenya)
- I Can Fly High School (Machakos, Kenya)
- Muindi Mbingu Boys Secondary School (Machakos, Kenya)
- Adelaide Tambo School for the Physically Challenged (Johannesburg, South Africa)
- Delta House/Vashti Village (Mbabane, Eswatini (formerly Swaziland))
- Training Resources in Early Education (T.R.E.E.) (Durban, South Africa)
- The Cherette Elementary School (also known as Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Elementary School, Cynthia M.A. Butler-McIntyre Campus) (Cherette, Haiti)
Sorority members attend Delta Days at the United Nations annually to participate in the Commission on the Status of Women’s session. In 2003, the Sorority became a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) at the United Nations. As a result, the Sorority gains access to and disseminates information regarding issues addressed by the United Nations concerning women and children.
