Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is an international public service sorority that is comprised of over 300,000 initiated members.  Encouraging young African-American students to achieve excellence through primary, secondary, and postsecondary education is a primary focus of our organization. 

The Macon Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. supports this focus by sponsoring an annual scholarship program to provide financial assistance to graduating high school seniors, GED recipients, and college students.  These students must reside in Bibb, Jones, Monroe, Twiggs or Wilkinson counties. Each December, our scholarship application is posted on the homepage of our website.  The application may also be obtained through high school counselors in our service area.  After an application review and interview process, the winners are announced during our annual May Week observance.  For the 2022-23 school year, the Macon Alumnae Chapter awarded 8 college scholarships.
